Energy-saving opportunities in downstream processing of oil and energy supply systems

Certainly hydrocarbons will remain as key elements in the development of global economy in coming decades. Hence securing the growing global energy need requires special attention to energy saving. Considering this issue helps world move in a more sustainable way towards a better future. The downstream oil industry as one of the major industrial energy consumers will play its special role in the development and promotion of efficient and rational use of energy. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the opportunities facing downstream oil industry making it realizing this goal.
