چکیده مقاله:

Today, with the advancement of mineral exploration methods due to the growing needs ofsociety, new technologies have been developed for this purpose. Two of the most critical andinfluential methods in this field are remote sensing and satellite image analysis. Using satelliteimages makes it possible to identify areas with high mineralization potential. Urmia-Dokhtarmetallurgical belt is essential due to the presence of many intrusive masses that have beenthe cause of the mineralization of copper and other precious metals, including gold. Thismetallogenic belt is stretched as a volcanic strip between the Central Iran zone and SanandajSirjan. By using the science of remote sensing and with the help of satellite images of varioussensors and finally applying various pre-processing and processing on them, promising areasin terms of mineralization and mineral potentials can be identified in the study area. The studyarea is located northeast of Robat ۱:۱۰۰۰۰۰ map, ۴۵ km from Shahr-e Babak in Kermanprovince. The rocks in the range include calc-alkaline volcanic rocks, andesite, dacite, diorite, quartz diorite and granodiorite, conglomerate, sandstone, and chlorite schist, and the mainminerals of the range include quartz, argillite, feldspar, sericite, chlorite, magnetite, orthoclase, pyrite, epidote, chalcopyrite, and biotite. In this study, the Sentinel-۲ satellite image was usedto determine the mineralization potential of porphyry copper. In order to highlight and identifypromising areas in the study area, various satellite image processing methods were used, including false color composition (FCC) and band ratio. The obtained results indicate theimportance of the study area in terms of porphyry copper mineralization
