The performance of the World Health Organization in Iran

The World Health Organization, one of the specialized agencies of the UnitedNations, started its activity on April ۷, ۱۹۴۸ in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.From this year onwards, it was called World Health Day. The activities of thisorganization are planned to reach the field of health and hygiene. The WorldHealth Organization took over the activities of the League of Nations in this field,which was also dissolved with the collapse of the League of Nations, and with thecreation of the United Nations, the formation of an institution in this field wasnoticeable. The current research, examining the history of health at theinternational level, the feeling of need, the way of formation, performance and therole of the organization in our country was investigated in this research.
