Imaging Water bearing Limestone On the West Of El Dabaa, Northwestern Coast, Egypt Using DC Resistivity Data

DC resistivity data were evaluated with the two-dimensional (۲D) inversion scheme to obtain an electrical tomography section for an arid region of the Northern Egypt. Recovered ۲D sections possess low resistive structures (< ۷ ohm.m) associated with brackish water bearing aquifer. The main aquifer structure (> ۲۰ ohm.m) was divided into compartments by faults. Our results also pointed out the possible connections between the aquifers.
