چکیده مقاله:
The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of The effectiveness of role-playingmethod on students' social skills of nineth grade students. The research method was semiexperimentalwith a pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The researchpopulation was the ۹th grade male students of Tehran in the academic year of ۲۰۲۲-۲۰۲۳,and ۴۰ students were selected as a sample using the multi-stage cluster sampling method.The research tool was Gresham and Elliott (۱۹۹۰) social skills questionnaire. Theexperimental group participated in a ۲۰-session training program. In this educationalprogram, ۱۰ social skills were taught to students through role playing. After this stage, thesocial skills questionnaire was completed again for all subjects (experimental and controlgroups). The obtained data were analyzed using univariate covariance analysis. Thefindings showed that there is a difference between pre-test and post-test averages in theexperimental group, and role-playing training created a statistically significant differencein the social skills of ninth grade students. The findings of this research can be used indeveloping social skills training programs for students.
