چکیده مقاله:

Over the past few years, there has been a growing interest in the promotion of energy efficiency as a means of reducing carbon emissions, enhancing building energy efficiency, and mitigating energy consumption for the realization of sustainable buildings. In light of the current environmental crisis and the widespread pollution plaguing cities as a result of the excessive utilization of non-renewable and fossil fuels, various strategies such as sustainable architecture and sustainability practices have been implemented to facilitate environmentally-friendly practices and protect the environment in a more effective manner. Nevertheless, it is imperative to note that these measures in isolation fail to address the pressing issues arising from the prevailing ecological predicament. As the gap between man and nature continues to widen, it becomes imperative to implement solutions that not only foster greater connectivity with natural environments, but also facilitate their restoration through regeneration mechanisms. The regenerative approach possesses the potential to establish a relationship between the human populace and the natural landscape through integration of contemporary technologies. The primary objective of this study is to establish methodologies for curtailing energy usage and enhancing energy efficiency in residential edifices situated in Tehran metropolis, drawing upon the tenets of regenerative architecture. The research conclusively recommends the adoption and execution of pragmatic courses of action that leverage regenerative architectural or technical design elements, with the objective of managing energy utilization in buildings that uphold the efficacy of the architectural project. Alternative remedies are delineated in the conclusion of the study.
