Application of the OCRA method in the ergonomic evaluation of risk factors of MSDs in the some jobs of Tehran prisons

One of the methods to analyze the risk factors causing musculoskeletal disorders (frequency, force, continuous work without rest, poor posture, vibration, cold, heat and...) is OCRA Index method. The present study was carried out according to this method, in the some tasks / works in the Tehran province prisons. This study showed that the OCRA method is a valid method; and the high level of OCRA index indicate to the high value of risk of the job (P<0.001), and between these four jobs, the most risky job is the Carpet making.
