Creating a balance between the goals of wetland ecotourism development and ecosystem protection

What is left today from the fight between humans and nature, such as the reduction of biodiversity, environmental pollution, human interference in the natural environment, and the continuous exploitation of environmental resources, which has gradually saturated the ability to absorb and restore the biological shield; is rooted in the inappropriate use of land by humans and improper management or wrong exploitation, and in general, it is a sign of irrational human use of the environment. Therefore, it is essential to balance tourism development programs and environmental protection. In this regard, aquatic ecosystems, especially wetlands, are in danger and, in some cases, destroyed due to the lack of water flow with other environments and the closed environment without interaction with other ecosystems. On the other hand, the tourism attraction of these ecosystems attracts many tourists to visit them every year. Moreover, due to some of the development goals of these areas, such as establishing tourist camps, commercial activities, and exploiting parts of it, they may be more exposed to attack and destruction. This study has a comprehensive and in-depth look based on a review study on creating a balance between the goals of wetland ecotourism development and ecosystem protection.
