Investigation of the prevalence of Torus Mandibularis and Torus palatinus in Attendants of rafsanjan Dental school

the prevalence of Torus palatinus and Torus Mandibularis is widely different in various populations and races.this descriptive study was performed in ۱۹۹۹,to investigate the the prevalence of Torus Mandibularis and Torus palatinus in patients referring to Rafsanjan dental school.۵۸۴ patients(۲۶۸ men and ۳۱۶ women) which were over ۱۸ years old were examined.the information recorded in the questionaires were analized by EP۱۶ software resulting ۱۴.۲% for torus palatinus (۱۰.۴% in men and ۱۷.۴% in women). and ۴.۶% for tours mandibularis (۶.۷% in men and ۲.۸% in women).
