Comparison of the mortality rate of children hospitalized in Bandar Abbas Childrens Hospitalin ۱۳۹۹_۱۴۰۰ during the Covid _۱۹ epidemic compared to the same period in ۱۳۹۷_۱۳۹۸

Introduction: In ۲۰۱۹, cases of pneumonia were observed in Wuhan, China, The World Health Organizationintroduced it as a new coronavirus. Most of the patients were usually adults, and clinical findings about childrenpatients are not available. The World Health Organization named this disease as acute respiratory syndrome.The data indicate an incubation period of ۵ days, which may vary between ۲ and ۱۴ days. This virus is from theCoV family, which was created from ۴ viruses that cause the common cold, acute respiratory syndrome, andMERS. CoV۱۹ is most closely related to SARS. In general, this disease causes symptoms such as myalgia andfever like the flu, and causes less complications of lower infections and more upper respiratory problems. Lossof sense of smell has also been reported, although asymptomatic carriers exist. Loss of sense of smell has alsobeen reported, although asymptomatic carriers exist.Methods: A study was conducted on patients who died due to respiratory problems in ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۱۹. The datachecklist includes all the necessary information about the disease and the condition of the disease.Results: The total number of hospitalizations was ۲۱۷۸۷ people, of which ۶۲۳۱ people were hospitalized dueto respiratory problems. The results showed that with the applied medical measures, the number of deaths andhospitalized patients has decreased.Conclusion: Now, by doing this research, we hope to have a correct comparison between the death rate and thenumber of children infected in the target community of Shahid Mohammadi Hospital. It is hoped that with moreresearch in the field of respiratory diseases, we will be able to solve problems and respiratory diseases.
