چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Spinal nerve plexuses are formations derived from the convergence and divergence of a specificnumber of anterior ramis of certain nerves. Overall, there are four Spinal nerve plexuses named Lumbar, cervical, brachial, and sacral nerve plexuses in human body. Spinal nerve plexuses, typically due to theirintricate formation, pose significant challenges for both educators and students. Understanding them visually isoften complicated, particularly in educational institutions lacking suitable resources and detailed explanations.Hence, our group decided to facilitate education by constructing an interactive educational model, fosteringincreased student engagement in the learning process, and ultimately assessing its impact on student education. Methods: our educational group initially developed a preliminary design of the lumbar neural network.Subsequently, using plexiglass sheets, we created initial sections to define the neural pathways of eachcomponent of the neural network, utilizing neon strips. After implementing an appropriate electrical system, weemployed key switches for turning on and off the neural pathways for nerves. lastly, two groups of selectedstudents were designated, which one group received education through PowerPoint and the other through thisinnovative project. Results: After the training period, it was observed that students exposed to this innovative research showedbetter performance in recalling neural pathwaysConclusion: It appears that in teaching nerve plexuses, the abundance of details and the intricate formation ofnerves necessitate the use of interactive tools for more effective learning engagement. This innovative projectproved to be effective in streamlining education towards a more practical approach in this research, emphasizingthe need for tools that actively involve students in the learning process.
