The influence of important financial indicators related to listed companies on GDP growth

GDP is one of the most important economic indicators of the country, which shows the value of all goods and services produced in a year. Currently, listed companies are one of the most important factors affecting the country s economy. Therefore, the effectiveness of the GDP of the important indicators of listed companies is discussed in this research. The data of this research for the years ۱۳۹۴ to ۱۴۰۰ were extracted from the financial statements of listed companies. The collected data were analyzed using ordinary least squares regression and using EViews and Stata software. The findings show that the growth of operating profit and net operating profit of companies active in the Tehran Stock Exchange has a positive and significant effect on the growth of the country s gross domestic product. The growth of the market value and profitability of companies active in the Tehran Stock Exchange has a negative and significant relationship with the growth of the company s gross domestic product. From this research, it can be concluded that large and international investors can refer to the growth of operating profit, net operating profit, market value growth and profitability of companies active in the stock market for more appropriate decision making and GDP analysis.
