A Decision Support System for Inventory Management

It is the purpose of this article to present various optimization techniques for developing a practical management device that can be used for making intelligent decisions in inventory area. To that end, management science tools available for designing and developing effective inventory models are discussed and presented. A program with a built in capability of multi-purpose decision-making structures is discussed for analysis purposes.
