Features of the Categorization of Knowledge about the World in Phraseological Semantics

In this article, questions of phraseological semantics are studied, it is noted that the categorization of knowledge occurs not only on the basis of generalization of the essential features of the object, but also includes image-emotional impressions, during which the image and concept are combined. The process of foundation of phraseological unit is presented as a kind of cognitive hypothesis generating, formed in the course of daily human activity in search of new meaning and at the same time in search of verbal signification own or adopted in this society relationship to the category. Introducing imagery in the process of verbalization of the concept, the subject of the nomination seeks to expand the volume of the classification series, to provide the classification system with one more feature. A consequence of this method of categorizing knowledge is the combination of the nominative function with the characterizing one in their polysemantic unity.
