The motive of intercourse with the God in the Russian poetry of the first third of the ХIХ century

In this article the Russian poetry of the first third of the ХIХ century is analyzed. Like all Russian literature, it has never been only fiction receiving its predestination as a factor of national self consciousness of the epoch. The solution of creative problems, which poetry faces, induced authors to address to historical themes, religious-orthodox traditions of the Russian culture – the factors which determine the conceptional basis of national originality. Poets of different gifts, ideological positions, literary directions agreed upon the fact that the source of national self-consciousness is based on two principal propositions: spiritual conviction connected with orthodoxy and historical principles, based on national ideas. Being the main quality of the Russian view of life, oriented at the Easter archetype, in other words – on the priority of the spiritual basis in life.
