چکیده مقاله:
The evolution of art and design from the mid-nineteenth to the early twentieth century was characterized by profound socio-cultural transformations and industrial advancements. The dynamic socio-cultural conditions between ۱۸۸۰ and ۱۹۶۰ greatly impacted the emergence of modern art styles. This period marked a pivotal era in art history, giving birth to modern art styles heavily influenced by industrialization, innovation, historical events, and cultural revolutions. The paper examines how these factors, coupled with increased exposure to global art, led to the emergence of contemporary symbolism and diverse artistic creations. Renowned artists like Pavel Janák, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Eileen Gray, and Giacomo Balla played critical roles in this metamorphosis, incorporating elements of Cubism, Futurism, and Art Nouveau into their works. Their artistic explorations and the cultural tapestry they wove continue to inspire and shape the landscape of present-day art and design. By understanding this transformative historical period, we can better interpret the trajectory of creative expression, appreciating how artists and designers draw from this legacy to craft works that resonate with our modern complexities. This study underlines the enduring relevance of the mid-nineteenth to early twentieth-century art movements in shaping contemporary artistic endeavors, highlighting art's pivotal role as a source of inspiration in design.
