چکیده مقاله:
Plastics are used in a wide range of important applications throughout society, but poor management of these fossil fuel-derived resources results in widespread environmental pollution. The global plastic waste crisis is now recognized as one of the most pressing environmental challenges on the planet, and new technologies are urgently needed to enable a circular economy for plastics. There is also a strong economic incentive as plastic loses ۹۵% of waste. New ways to mine and recycle plastic waste will have significant economic and environmental impacts. Plastics currently lose ۹۵% of their material value after a single use, so the ability to create more valuable materials from waste could help combat plastic pollution and create a more circular economy (reducing waste). an economic system aimed at increasing resource consumption help. Make vanilla from a plastic bottle! Plastics currently lose ۹۵% of their material value after a single use, so the ability to create more valuable materials from waste could help combat plastic pollution and create a more circular economy (waste and economy (military economy) aimed at reducing energy consumption increase usage of resources). Researchers at the University of Edinburgh used an engineered microorganism, E.coli, to help biodegrade polyethylene terephthalate polymer (PET) plastic into vanillin, a substance widely used in many industries. This substance is used in food and cosmetics, as well as in herbicide, antifog and detergent compositions.Vanillin is usually obtained from vanilla seed extract and is responsible for vanilla's special taste and aroma.
