The Relationship between Marital Satisfaction, Religious Commitment and Attitudes towards Spousal Love

The purpose of the present study was to explore the relationship between marital satisfaction, religious commitment and attitudes towards spousal love in the married people of Zahedan. The population of this study consisted of all men and women of Zahedan in the year ۲۰۲۲. The sample of this study included ۱۰۰ people (۴۷men and ۵۳ women) that were selected at random.To collect the data valid questionnaires on Islamic Marital satisfaction, the Hendrick and Hendrick’s Love Attitudes Scale (LAS) and religious commitment by John Bozorgi (۲۰۰۹) was used. To analyze the data Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used and all analysis were done by SPSS-۲۸ software. The results that there was significant positive correlation between religious commitment and marital satisfaction (p< ۰.۰۱). Also there was a positive relationship between attitude towards love and marital satisfaction, but this relationship is not statistically significant (p> ۰.۰۱).
