Effectiveness of Pennsylvania Resiliency Program on Hope and Marital Life Quality in Imprisoned Drug Addicts' Wives

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Pennsylvania resiliency program on hope and marital life quality imprisoned drug addicts' wives. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design with the control group and the community of prisoners' wives under the cover of the Meybod Prisoners Support Association in ۲۰۲۳. ۳۴ participants were selected by the convenience sampling method and assigned to experimental and control groups. Research tools included Hope Questionnaire (Schneider, ۱۹۹۱) and Marital Quality Scale (Busby et al., ۱۹۹۵). The Pennsylvania Resilience Program was presented to the experimental group on a weekly basis during ۱۰ sessions of ۱.۵ hours, and the experimental group did not receive the training certificate. The data obtained from the research were analyzed using chi-square and multivariate covariance analysis in SPSS۲۶ statistical software. Results showed the Pennsylvania Resilience Program was effective in Increase hope and marital life quality scores of imprisoned drug addicts' wives (p<۰.۰۰۱).
