The Evolution Process of Teaching Motivation, Teaching Self-Efficacy and Teachers' Teaching Emotions and their Relationship with Psychological Well-Being

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the evolution of teaching motivation, teaching self-efficacy and teachers' teaching emotions and their relationship with psychological well-being. The descriptive research method was correlation. The statistical population of this research includes all male and female teachers of the first secondary school in Birjand city in the academic year of ۱۴۰۲-۱۴۰۱ in the number of ۶۱۲ people (۳۷۹ female teachers and ۲۳۳ male teachers), of which ۲۳۵ teachers were randomly selected according to the Morgan table. The research tools were psychological well-being questionnaire (Reif, ۱۹۸۰), teacher self-efficacy questionnaire (Schanen et al., ۲۰۰۱), teacher motivation questionnaire (Ferrant et al., ۲۰۰۸) and teaching excitement questionnaire (Villavicencio, ۲۰۱۰). The content validity and validity of the questionnaires were estimated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of ۰.۸۲ for psychological well-being questionnaire, teacher self-efficacy ۰.۸۹, teachers' work motivation ۰.۹۱ and excitement in teaching ۰.۸۶. One-way analysis of variance and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the research questions. The findings of the research showed that there was a significant difference between the transformation process of teaching motivation in first secondary teachers of Birjand city based on their service history (P<۰.۰۱). A significant difference was observed between the process of teaching self-efficacy in first secondary teachers of Birjand city based on their service history (P<۰.۰۱). However, there was no significant difference between the emotions of teaching in teachers based on their experience and it was the same (P>۰.۰۱). Also, there was a significant relationship between teaching motivation, teaching self-efficacy and teaching emotions with the psychological well-being of first secondary teachers in Birjand city (P<۰.۰۱).
