Research Method (Population, Sample, and Sampling Method): The study population consisted of ۲۴ male athletes from two sports clubs in Mashhad, Iran, who were randomly and conveniently selected. Research Instruments: The research utilized a satisfaction questionnaire, personal information, body mass index۲ measurement, the Eysenck Self-Esteem Scale, and the EMS exercise device from the Wiemspro brand. Both groups engaged in training sessions for a duration of four weeks, with three sessions per week. The control group performed physical fitness exercises for ۶۰ minutes per session, while the experimental group engaged in EMS exercises for ۲۰ minutes per session. Upon completion of all research sessions, the designated questionnaire was again administered as a post-test to all participants. Results: The findings of this study revealed that EMS exercises have a significant impact on weight reduction in overweight individuals with low self-esteem (P≤%۵). Discussion and Conclusion: A period of EMS exercises has been found to be effective in reducing weight in overweight individuals with low self-esteem.
