چکیده مقاله:
A new design is proposed to improve the performance of evaporative coolers. This is accomplished by adding an air to air heat exchanger to the conventional direct evaporative cooler. The heat exchanger is supplied by cold and humid air to cool the outside air before passing through pads. In this new system which is an indirect- direct evaporative cooler the temperature of exit air is less, and more stable than that of in a simple evaporative cooler. In this paper the basic principles for design of this new system at a special climatic conditions is illustrated. Also the variation of exit conditions with respect to the variation of climatic conditions is calculated.
