THE USE OF BOUNDARY ELEMENT MEH ۱OD IN TRANSIENT IIEAT CONDUCTION

In this paper the application of boundary clement technique for solving the time-dependent heat conduction problems is investigated. The comparison of the numerical results with those obtained from other methods shows a very good agreement. T he numerical solutions of transient temperature distribution for several examples including a concrete dam arc illustrated and it is shown that the algorithm is an efficient tool in analyzing time dependent two dimensional problems
