Rotary encoders are an essential tool for a variety of applications thatinvolve mechanical systems, whether for monitoring or control purposes.They are utilized in many industries such as industrial controls, robotics,photography, computer input devices like optomechanical mice andtrackballs, controlled stress rheometers, and rotating radar platforms.Rotary encoders can use different types of sensors, including mechanical,optical, or magnetic sensors, to detect rotational position changes. Themechanical type is commonly employed as a manually operated "digitalpotentiometer" control on electronic equipment. Based on theexplanations provided, it is imperative to select an angle position sensorthat can function effectively in challenging environments
