Investigation of the Role of Management Information Systems on Tourism Development

Nowadays, the tourism industry is in a significant position among the world's industries in terms of income generation, and countries have made many efforts to develop and improve the state of this industry and have always formulated programs for excellence, earning income, and creating employment in this way. In this regard, one of the most appropriate ways to develop tourism in the country and take steps toward the vision document is to use management information systems; In other words, the tourism industry is one of the important sectors of income generation and foreign exchange; By creating information management systems, it is possible to increase the process of providing and managing information, optimize this industry and develop the necessary infrastructure to increase tourism income. Optimal management of tourism development is possible by using library studies, so in this research, the role of management information systems in tourism development is presented in detail.
