Security in reliable on-demand routing protocol byusing trust levels

Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a new scope withtemporary configuration wireless nodes. These features requirethe network to have security requirements than other networks.Due to limited communication range of each mobile node,connections between two nodes are constructed through a numberof intermediate nodes. Some of these nodes may be untrustworthyor malicious and operating a threat to the security of theexchanged data among mobile nodes. In this paper, we design Asecure reliable on-demand routing protocol (SRORP), a secure adhoc network routing protocol based on the design of the reliableon-demand routing protocol(RORP). SRORP is robust againstbrute force attackers or compromised nodes creating false routingstate in the network. After identify these nodes, mobile hosts canisolate these nodes from routing path.
