چکیده مقاله:

Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of memory impairment in the elderly, and itsprevalence continues to increase, mainly due to the aging of the world population. There iscurrently no effective treatment available for Alzheimer's disease. Worldwide, it affects ۳۲million people, and if no acceptable treatment is available by ۲۰۵۰, this number may rise to ۱۳۹million. . The current course of treatment improves cognitive abilities and temporarily relievessymptoms, but does not stop or slow the progression of the disease. A potential strategy basedon nanotechnology can improve bioavailability and drug targeting specificity in the brain.However, several obstacles remain for the successful use of nanomedicines in clinical settingsfor the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. In addition, due to the rapid progress in nanomedicinetreatment, better results can be predicted for patients with Alzheimer's disease. This articleprovides an overview of recent advances in nanomedicine using different types of nanoparticlesfor the management and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
