Damage Assessment of Stuxnet Attack on IoT Platform

Stuxnet, a malicious computer worm that surfaced in ۲۰۱۰, was responsible for causing substantial damage to Iran's nuclear program. Although the worm was designed to target industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, the underlying attack vectors and propagation mechanisms have implications for the Internet of Things (IoT) platform. This article examines the Stuxnet attack and its impact on IoT, proposing mitigation strategies and highlighting the importance of securing IoT devices.
