چکیده مقاله:

In cardiovascular diseases, psychological factors such as anxiety can significantly impact the onset or exacerbationof illness. Thus, training the patient can be named a critical component of nursing care to reduce anxiety levels.Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of face-to-face education of care needs on anxiety in patientswith acute coronary syndrome (ACS) hospitalized in Bandar Abbas, Iran.Materials and Methods:This quasi-experimental study has been conducted on ۵۰ patients with (ACS) who were randomly selected based onhaving the inclusion criteria of the study. The experimental group received five intervention sessions; then, UsingSpielberger's inventory, the researchers measured the anxiety levels before and after the intervention. Collected datawere analyzed using SPSS v ۱۹.۰.Results:The study results showed that total anxiety scores before intervention were ۸۶.۲۰ and after the intervention was۷۳.۳۰. In other words, the patients' mean anxiety score after the intervention has decreased compared to before(p=۰/۰۰۱).Conclusion:Considering the significance of anxiety in incidence and intensity of coronary disease, it is essential that measureswould be taken to reduce anxiety in this group.
