چکیده مقاله:

Pregnancy anxiety as a common form of psychiatric illness is a reflectionof stress response which occurs when personal well-being is threatenedduring Antenatal period few studies performed among Iranian people inthis respect so the authors wanted to investigate health- related anxiety andassociated factors among pregnant women and to provide scientific basisto reduce prenatal anxiety effectively. Face to face deep semi-structuredinterview was conducted with anxious pregnant women who were referringto Tehran health care services with using purposeful sampling and dataanalysis was conducted from a content analysis perspective. Twenty eightpregnant women from different social backgrounds educational levels andethnicities aged ۱۸-۴۱ years old participated in this study and after analysisanxiety-creating components was classified into ۴ domains including: physicalcomplications of pregnancy psychological complications of pregnancy fearof cesarean fear of normal delivery. The results of this study identifiedthe causes of health related -anxiety in pregnant women so health careproviders should identify mothers at risk and prevent or reduce antenatalanxiety from occurring by improving the health status of pregnant womenand strengthening prenatal-related education and mental interventions.pregnancy anxiety health outcome antenatal mood disorders
