چکیده مقاله:
Investigating the effect of crude oil on soil engineering properties is very important because in places where there is a possibility of soil contamination with oil, these changes should be considered in engineering and geotechnical designs. In this research, the effect of crude oil on soil internal friction angle, cohesion, liquid limit, as well as environmental consequences, including permeability (oil transfer and spread agent) and its health effects are discussed. In the results reviewed in this article, data are presented for different percentages of contamination and also for different test conditions, where the effect of different possible parameters can be observed. Based on the results of the research, with the increase in the amount of pollution, the reduction of the friction angle, the increase of cohesion in most cases and the reduction of the flow rate can be seen. Also, the environmental effects of this pollution, the diseases caused by it and the impact on aquatic organisms in the place have also been mentioned.
