چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays one of the major concerns of people living in metropolitans is the annoying traffic. In this situation, moving trains emerged as an effective solution for mass transportation. On the other hand, the ground vibrations according to the movement of trains could cause many issues for the structures in the vicinity of the railway system. Therefore, estimating vibrations due to moving loads such as surface and underground trains is particularly important in geotechnical engineering. The train-induced vibration is a complicated dynamic problem considering the participation of many factors along the propagation path, such as the train movement system's loading mechanism, the tunnel's geometry and path, soil layering, and loading frequency. In this paper, a ۳D finite element study of the vibrations in the vicinity of the train is investigated, and the effect of soil layering and train loading frequency is studied. The increase in soil stiffness in layered grounds leads to a decrease in the soil displacement response. Also, the loading frequency significantly impacts the oscillations near the railway track and locating structures.
