چکیده مقاله:

Background: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic demyelinatingand debilitating disease of the central nervous system whichis leading to cognitive and movement disorders. Biomarkerscan be used with the aim of gene therapy and changing geneexpression. In this research, we investigated the mechanism ofeffect and interaction of two genes encoding PRR۵L proteinwith long non-coding RNA A۲M-AS۱ in patients with multiplesclerosis. Methods and Material: First, by bioinformatical analysis ofmicroarray data downloaded from GEO database, the expressionstatus of various genes, including PRR۵L gene, in patientswith MS was investigated. Then lncRNA-mRNA interactionanalysis performed by lncRRisearch and ENCORI databases. And the expression of LncRNA A۲M-AS۱ bioinformaticallymeasured by ENCORI database. Results: In this research, based on investigating the mechanismof effect and interaction of two genes encoding PRR۵L proteinwith long non-coding RNA A۲M-AS۱ in patients with multiplesclerosis, it’s found that these two biomarkers are significantlyexpressed in MS. After careful analysis of these two genes,DEGs with adjusted p-value < ۰.۰۵ and |logFC| > ۰ were consideredsignificant. As a result of this study, concluded that highexpression of PRR۵L and A۲M-AS۱ genes can be effective inthe development of MS Pathology symptoms and its risk
