چکیده مقاله:
Background: Neuroblastoma (NB) is one of the most commonchildren cancers which arises from development of sympatheticnervous system. It is ranked as third cancer with highest mortalityrate. MYCN amplification is one of prognostic factorsfor risk stratifications of patients. Survival rates of high-riskpatients with neuroblastoma is about ۵۰% and ۶۶% of thesechildren will ultimately relapse. miRNAs are recognized asnew targets in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases includingcancer.Materials and Methods: This study was conducted in the databaseof PubMed and Google scholar by searching for keywordsincluded neuroblastoma, prognostic biomarkers in neuroblastoma,neuroblastoam biomarkers, miRNAs and neuroblastomamiRNAs.Results: According to reference articles expression of miR-۱۰a/b can induce MYCN amplification by inhibiting NCOR۲.Also amplification of MYCN can cause invasiveness and metastasisin NB tumor cells by inducing expression of miR-۵۲۴-۵p. In other hand upregulation of miR-۱۸۴ can lessen apoptosisof cancer cells by reducing expression of AKT۲. Somestudies have shown that serum levels of ۹ certain microRNAs(hsa- miR-۳۲۳a-۳p, has- miR-۴۹۰-۵p, has- miR-۳۷۵, has- miR-۸۷۳-۳p, has- miR-۱۲۹-۵p, has- miR-۱۴۹-۵p, has- miR-۲۱۸-۵p,has- miR-۱۰b-۳p, has- miR-۱۲۴-۳p) can be a good prognosticbiomarker to predict the stage of disease and overall survival.More over upregulated miR-۵۱۳a-۵p, miR-۱۲۶۸, miR-۱۲۶۱,miR-۵۸, miR-۵۴۸f, miR-۵۱۳b, miR-۱۹۰۸ and downregulared miR-۶۰۰, miR-۵۷۶-۵p, miR-۸۸۸, miR-۸۸۷, miR-۶۴۱, miR-۵۴۸a-۵p and miR-۱۲۰۶ can be considered as prognostic biomarkersfor NB.Conclusion: According to microRNAs outstanding roles in differentpathogenic pathways in NB, named microRNAs can beused as powerful prognostic biomarkers for patients with NB.Also by analyzing microRNAs serum levels, the stage of diseaseis predictable
