چکیده مقاله:

Background: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of ۲۲-nucleotidenon-coding RNAs that play a crucial regulatory role in geneexpression and cell proliferation and differentiation processes.Changes in miRNAs level and their effects on tumor growthand progression have been reported in various cancers, includinglymphoma. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), withmore than ۱۸,۰۰۰ newly diagnosed patients yearly, is the mostcommon type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) worldwide. The basis of DLBCL treatment is based on chemotherapy andradiotherapy, and the main reason for the failure of these treatmentsis the resistance of cancer cells to these therapeutic methods. In this study, we investigated the relationship between theexpression of various types of miRNAs and treatment resistancein DLBCL patients.Materials and Methods: A systematic search has conducted inPubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases with generatedkeywords, and after removing duplicated and irrelevant papers,۱۴ articles were included in this study. Results: Our results show the decrease of miR-۱۴۸b, miR-۱۸۱b,miR-۲۹, and miR-۳۴a and the increase of miR-۱۵۵, miR-۲۱, miR-۲۲۱/۲۲۲, and miR-۱۷-۹۲cluster is associated with the resistance ofcancerous cells to chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Conclusion: These microRNA levels could optimize patients'prognosis and treatment plan, improving their treatment qualityand survival. As a result, more progressive treatments could beprescribed for patients with specific microRNA panels. Also, other therapeutic choices should be considered for patients witha lower chance of radiosensitivity.
