چکیده مقاله:
Background: Three-dimensional nano scaffolds by creatinga three-dimensional structure similar to the body tissues havecreated a new perspective on cell culture and tissue repair. Theaim of this study was to investigate the effect of polycaprolac tone biodegradation scaffold (PCL) in the treatment of diabeticwounds.Materials and Methods: Nano PCL-Gelatine scaffold was synthesizedby the electrospun method. A circular wound (۶ mm)was created in the skin of ۱۵ BALB/c rats and the rats weredivided into ۳ groups including a Non-diabetic group (sham),a Diabetic group without nano scaffold receiving (control), anda diabetic group with nano scaffolds (scaffold). Wound surfacearea and wound healing were evaluated on the ۷th and ۱۴thdays using H & E staining with Image J and SPSS software. Results: On the ۷th day, the smallest and highest wound surfacewas observed in the Scaffold and Control groups respectively(P <۰.۰۴). On the ۱۴th day, the smallest and highest levels of ulcerswere observed in sham and control groups respectively (P<۰.۰۰). In the evaluation of wound healing on the ۷th and ۱۴thdays, the highest treatment rates were observed in the Scaffoldand sham groups respectively, and on the ۱۴th day, there was nosignificant difference between the two groups (۰.۴۰).Conclusion: Polycaprolactone nano-fiber scaffold has goodcompatibility with skin ulcers in rats and it can increase the rateand extent of wound healing in diabetic rats.
