چکیده مقاله:

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is one of the most commonmalignant and aggressive hematologic tumors, and its pathogenesisis associated with abnormal post-transcriptional regulation. Its pathogenesis is unclear and there is a need to further study the mechanisms that influence its genesis and progression. Longnon coding RNAs play important roles in cancer and studies inthe past decade suggest an ever more important role of thesegenes and their RNA products in complex malignancies includingleukemia. A good example is HOX antisense intergenic RNA(HOTAIR), a long non-coding RNA, which plays an importantrole in the development of many types of cancers and recentlyit has been linked to poor prognosis in AML patients as well.Another lncRNA, AC۰۲۶۱۵۰.۸ was upregulated in AML patientsand related to poor prognosis and NPM۱ mutations wereassociated with high AC۰۲۶۱۵۰.۸ expression. In ALL which isthe most common cancer in children accurate patient risk stratificationthrough genetic biomarkers could potentially increasesurvival rates, but the identification of reliable biomarkers isneeded. Long non coding RNAs can represent novel candidateswith diagnostic, classification, prognosis, and treatment responsepotential. In this study we explore the latest suggested LncRNAsand their potential roles in development diagnosis and prognosisof Acute leukemia. It is necessary to further study lncRNAs suchas AC۰۲۶۱۵۰.۸ and their downstream target genes to clarify themechanism of lncRNAs in in AML and ALL.
