چکیده مقاله:

The process of separation holds significant importance in various industries such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and numerous other sectors. Despite significant advancements, there remains a growing interest in the advancement of separation technologies, particularly through the identification of high-performance separation materials. This interest stems from concerns regarding efficiency, health and environmental consequences, as well as the cost associated with current methods. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of crystalline porous materials that have experienced significant growth. They have considerable potential in tackling diverse separation obstacles owing to their precisely specified pore size and remarkable adjustability in terms of both composition and pore shape. Over the course of the previous decade, there has been a significant amount of research conducted on the various applications of MOF materials. These applications encompass the separation and capture of numerous gases and vapours, as well as liquid-phase separation involving both liquid mixtures and solutions.
