چکیده مقاله:
Camelina [Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz] is an ancient crop species with various potential in the food and feed industries due to the high nutritional quality of its oil and high protein content. Plant growth-promoting bacteria (PdPB) can improve crop yield by promoting plant growth under various environmental conditions. The objective of the study was to investigate the water deficit induced effects and PdPB on the seed composition of six camelina genotypes. This experiment was programmed in three irrigation levels (well water: ۱MM% FC, mild water deficit: ۷۵%FC and severe water deficit: ۵M%FC) and the presence of Micrococcus yunnanensis as plant growth-promoting bacteria during the reproductive phase. In all genotypes, water-deficient stress decreased oil content and increased protein and total carbohydrate. PdPB increased the protein content while it no had significant effect on oil content. Fiber content was significantly affected by irrigation, genetic background in both inoculated and non-inoculated plants.
