He uses cognitive play therapy techniques to correct the child's incorrect or inconsistent cognitions.Cognitive behavioral game therapy has four stages (initial stage - assessment stage, middle stage and final stage). In the initial stage of the game, the therapist seeks to communicate with the child. When the play therapist communicates with the child, he goes to evaluate the child in various activities in order to know the origin of his cognitive, sensory, and mental problems. In the middle stage, the cognitive-behavioral game therapist designs a therapeutic plan according to the strengths and weaknesses of the child, and in the course of treating the child through cognitive game therapy, he focuses۲on increasing the child's self-control, sense of progress, and learning more adaptive responses to face certain situations.
