چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: So far, many treatment methods have been used for adhesive capsulitis disorder, but the effectiveness of a few of them has been proven. In this research, the effect of rehabilitation on the range of motion of the shoulder joint in patients with adhesive capsulitis was studied.Study method: It was a pre-experimental study with a pre-and post-test with a research group. Sampling is of the available type and included ۲۸ patients with adhesive capsulitis (۹ women and ۱۹ men). The participants included patients who did not have heart disease. The research group participated in aerobic activity (running on a treadmill) with an average intensity of ۵۰% of the target heart rate for one session and about ۱۰ minutes.Findings: Correlative analysis showed that the shoulder joint flexion range of motion, shoulder joint extension range of motion, shoulder joint abduction range of motion, shoulder joint adduction range of motion, shoulder joint internal rotation range of motion, and shoulder joint external rotation range of motion did not increase significantly. (p ≤ ۰.۰۵). Also, due to running, the temperature of the shoulder joint did not show a significant increase (p ≤ ۰.۰۵).Conclusion: Based on the present research and similar research, although aerobic exercise increases the temperature of the soft tissue, this increase in temperature is not to the extent that it affects the range of motion of the joint.
