In this paper, a method for the placement of distributed generation resources in electric distribution systems is presented using the particle optimization algorithm while considering load uncertainty. This approach aims to enhance the performance and efficiency of the system through optimizing the placement of generation and distribution resources. Simulation results demonstrate that this method has the capability to improve stability, reduce voltage drops, and increase energy efficiency. We investigate the optimization problem of distributed generation resource placement in a standard ۳۳-bus distribution system. Our primary objective is to maximize the reduction of losses, voltage deviation costs, and generation costs of power plants. To address the uncertainty of load in the placement of generation resources, we employ the Monte Carlo simulation method. Subsequently, utilizing the Particle Swarm Algorithm, we determine the optimal locations for the placement of generation resources in the system. Simulation results indicate that this approach contributes to achieving multiple objectives, including reducing voltage deviation, losses, and generation costs, leading to a significant enhancement in the system's performance.
