چکیده مقاله:
Professional development is different from professional advancement. Teaching and experience in the best case can affect one of the dimensions of teachers' professional identity (current identity) and experience cannot necessarily be an expression of professionalism and the variable of improving professional identity. The purpose of this research is to understand the professional development of English language teachers in Professionalism is perhaps more important for a language teacher than for other teachers. In my opinion, according to the materials I have studied in this field, benefiting from my professors and personal experience, I can divide qualifications into two categories: mental qualifications and emotional qualifications .It seems that the best teachers are those who spend their time learning. Unfortunately, some teachers stop learning when they start teaching and are satisfied with the pamphlets they prepared once. For this reason, the changing world passes them by and quickly puts them in a situation where they are no longer ready to teach effectively. A professional teacher usually follows developments related to his field and constantly improves his skills. They are always learning. In other words, they are constantly making students. In this research, we have reviewed the professional development of English language teachers
