Synthesis of Titanium dioxide nanoparticles using turnip extract and investigating the effect of extract concentration on the size of nanoparticles

چکیده مقاله:
Green synthesis is considered to be an eco-friendly and sustainable approach. Various plant parts and their extracts are used. The green synthesis procedure is an easy process to produce nanoparticles. The present study deals with the synthesis of titanium dioxide nanoparticles using turnip extract. Also, the effect of two different extract concentrations on the property of nanoparticles is investigated. In this research, green synthesis as an eco-friendly and cost-effective method is used. The white color dispersion shows the formation of TiO۲ NPs during the chemical process. The SEM image of titanium NPs in both samples reveals the spherical-shaped NPs. The obtained results have revealed that the property of TiO۲ nanoparticles was similar in both processes except for the size of the nanoparticles. More turnip extract concentration results in bigger titanium NPs. The EDS analysis shows the presence of titanium and oxygen.
