The purpose of this document is to provide a detailed overview of the Officeof Information Technology Change Management process. The documentconsists of detailed process flow diagrams, with procedures andcorresponding RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed)matrix and procedure descriptions.Change Management Process Goals and Objectives : The ChangeManagement Process goals and objectives define why Change Managementis important to OIT’s overall vision for delivering and supporting effectiveand efficient IT Services. This section establishes the fundamental goalsand objectives that underpin Change Management.The agreed and documented goals and objectives provide a point ofreference to check implementation and operational decisions and activities.The process goal is a broad statement that defines what the organizationwants to achieve by successfully implementing Change Management. Theprocess objectives are more specific statements than the purpose and arecharacterized by a set of tasks in pursuit of reaching the goals.The goal of the change management process is to control the lifecycle of allchanges, enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruptionto IT services.
