studying the Effects of Micro silica on thePermeability and Water Absorption of the Concrete

The most effective solution to reduce permeability, structural reform Concrete and reducing the cavitiescontained therein. In the present study, micro silica gel was used as filler concreting the concretestructure and reducing the Permeability has been addressed. For this purpose, the number of cylindricalsamples of diameter ۱۰ Centimeter and thickness of ۵ centimeters were stored and kept in ۳ periods and۱۵ days. To determine the absorbance of samples the built-in solutions of the ۱۵۸۳ASTMC standardwere used. Depending on the amount and speed of water absorption Concrete samples were observed;the use of micro silica reduces the amount and speed of water absorption of concrete. Also the resultsof the experiments showed that increasing the ratio of micro silica to cement materials, absorption ofvoluminous and voluminous water It reduces to a great extent, because the micro silica uses its fill abilityto modify the structure and reduce the size Cavities in concrete
