N e v e r t h e l e s s, t h e d i f f u s i o n a n d e x p a n s i o n o f G r e e n S u p p l y C h a i n M a n a g e m e n t (G S C M) i n m a n u f a c t u r i n g i n d u s t r i e s i s a c o m p l e x s u b j e c t a n d f a c e s m a n y b a r r i e r s a n d d i f f i c u l t i e s. T h e e x i s t e n c e o f d i f f e r e n t s t a k e h o l d e r s w i t h d i f f e r e n t a n d s o m e t i m e s c o n t r a d i c t o r y g o a l s, a l o n g w i t h a w i d e r a n g e o f i n f l u e n t i a l f a c t o r s t h a t h a v e m u t u a l l y i n t e r a c t i v e a n d i n d i r e c t e f f e c t s, a r e t w o m a i n f e a t u r e s o f t h i s i s s u e. U s i n g s y s t e m d y n a m i c s t o o l s, t h i s r e s e a r c h m o d e l s t h e i n t e r a c t i o n s b e t w e e n t h e k e y s t a k e h o l d e r s i n c l u d i n g g o v e r n m e n t, m a n u f a c t u r e r s, a n d c o n s u m e r s q u a n t i t a t i v e l y a n d d y n a m i c a l l y, a n d d e s c r i b e s t h e p a t t e r n o f G S C M d i f f u s i o n i n m a n u f a c t u r i n g c o m p a n i e s. T h e p r o p o s e d m o d e l a n a l y z e s f e e d b a c k a n d c a u s a l r e l a t i o n s h i p s a m o n g k e y s t a k e h o l d e r s, e v a l u a t e s t h e p a t h o f G S C M d i f f u s i o n o v e r t i m e. I t a l s o e v a l u a t e s t h e s e n s i t i v i t y o f t h e r e s u l t s t o t h e m o d e l p a r a m e t e r s. M o r e o v e r, a s a c a s e s t u d y, t h e m o d e l i s s i m u l a t e d i n I r a n's a u t o m o t i v e i n d u s t r y a n d t h e r e s u l t s o f v a r i o u s s c e n a r i o s h a v e b e e n a n a l y z e d. T h e m o s t i m p o r t a n t r e s u l t s a r e: D i f f u s i o n o f G S C M i n a u t o m o t i v e c o m p a n i e s h a s a d e c r e a s i n g o s c i l l a t i o n p a t t e r n, a n d o v e r t i m e, t h e r e v e n u e o f t h e t w o g r e e n p r o d u c e r g r o u p s a n d n o r m a l p r o d u c e r s c o m e s c l o s e t o g e t h e r a n d r e a c h e s t o a c e r t a i n p r o p o r t i o n a l l e v e l. T h e a m o u n t o f g o v e r n m e n t s u b s i d i e s t o p r o d u c e r s a n d c o n s u m e r s o f g r e e n p r o d u c t s h a s a n e f f e c t o n G S C M d i f f u s i o n. T h e r e s u l t s s h o w t h a t i n t h e c a s e o f s a m e c h a n g e s i n t h e s e t w o p a r a m e t e r s, t h e i m p a c t o f t h e c o n s u m e r s u b s i d y (S C) i s f a r g r e a t e r t h a n t h e e f f e c t o f t h e p r o d u c e r s u b s i d y (S M), a n d i f t h e g o v e r n m e n t's t a r g e t i s m o r e g r e e n p r o d u c t i o n, t h e c o n s u m p t i o n s u b s i d y h a s a b e t t e r e f f e c t. G S C M r e l e a s e s w i l l b e s i g n i f i c a n t l y e n h a n c e d, i f g r e e n m a n u f a c t u r e r s c a n r e d u c e t h e c o s t o f t h e i r p r o d u c t s i n a v a r i e t y o f w a y s. S e n s i t i v i t y o f c o n s u m e r s t o g r e e n p r o d u c t p r e f e r e n c e s i s a l s o e f f e c t i v e i n G S C M d i f f u s i o n, b u t i t s e f f e c t i s l e s s t h a n o t h e r f a c t o r s.
