چکیده مقاله:

Since the declaration of the first COVID-۱۹ case in Turkey on ۱۰ March ۲۰۲۰, the pandemic period has started in the country. COVID-۱۹ pandemic has affected not only the health institutions, but also the education-training process in all Higher Education institutions. Since the declaration of the pandemic Bursa Uludağ University Department of Nursing has begun to use the distance education method as in most educational institutions. Since the distance education process we the instructors of the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing have experienced an intense concern. In the execution process of the Fundamentals of Nursing lesson the decisions made after the Fundamentals of Nursing workshop that expert instructors in Turkey created collaboratively have been of guide quality for us the instructors. The subjects in the class are conducted weekly in parallel with theoretical, laboratory and clinical practice. All Theoretical, Laboratory and Clinical Practice classes are conducted online using Google Meet. A total of ten instructors conducted the Laboratory Class. The groups were created via Google Classroom. The instructor who was in charge of a specific group allowed students in his/her group in Google Classroom to send homework, videos, etc. In the clinical practice part of the class the videos made by the students that week were displayed online in the classroom environment throughout the class after receiving permission from a few students. In this process the students were asked to make peer assessment. Within the scope of the videos displayed both the students and the instructor in the classroom expressed positive and negative aspects of the student’s application. On the other hand the senior students (except the intern students), sophomore and junior nursing students did the clinical practice compensatory internship of other applied courses at the hospitals in September ۲۰۲۱. Nursing is an applied occupation. If you are a nurse, you know that you touch a life or another life touches yours every day. Therefore we have experienced that there is no sense in teaching without witnessing our nursing students touch their patients. Hope that we will never go back to those days.
