چکیده مقاله:
This study assesses the social, economic, and artistic value of the representations of gender in Iranian artists' works. With an emphasis on the social, economic, and creative effects of gender components in their works, it intends to evaluate how gender is portrayed in the works of a sample of Iranian artists using a mixed-methods approach. In order to comprehend the role of gender in Iranian art and to assess how well it contributes to social change, economic value, and artistic innovation, the study draws on feminist art theory and cultural sociology. The study's conclusions show that gender is an important aspect of Iranian art and that many Iranian artists use gender components in their creations. However, due to a number of reasons, such as cultural norms, institutional hurdles, and economic circumstances, the social and economic impact of gender in art is constrained. The study emphasizes the need for artists, curators, and politicians to engage with gender issues in Iranian art more purposefully and to foster an environment that is more encouraging for those artists who do so. The study ends with suggestions for further study and application in the area of gender and art in Iran, including the requirement for more nuanced examinations of the intersections of gender with other social categories like race, ethnicity, and class. Additionally, it proposes that future studies should concentrate on how gender influences artistic originality and the financial worth of art. In the end, the study makes the case that a more thorough comprehension of the social, economic, and aesthetic effectiveness of gender components in Iranian art might help create a more diverse and active art scene in Iran and beyond.
