Is. The results show that, basically, dilapidated fabric is a part of urban development that is caused by the lack of planning, control and compliance with the rules and regulations of urban development by a group of people who are mainly the poor and groups with low urban income and rural migrants. The rate of crime and delinquency in worn-out neighborhoods is high due to high population density, increasing poverty, broken structures and creating social discontinuities, weakening of social bonds and also liberating people from the pressure of public opinion and official control. In fact, it can be said that there is a relationship between the worn-out and abandoned urban fabric, with crime and social damage, and these areas, like urban damage islands, are considered to be the main sources of crime and delinquency. Surveys show that worn-out and abandoned urban areas are full of crime due to the environmental conditions and the presence of unfavorable elements, as well as due to the heterogeneous social and cultural context of urban areas. If correct policies are not used to prevent the occurrence of crime, it will harm the security of the society, which is the center of human societies.
